In addition to tutoring services, I also provide school consultation, IEP meetings advocacy, and parent consultation. These services can be added to an existing plan and will be discussed for cost on a case by case basis depending on the depth of support needed. One free consultation to determine these needs and examine the family needs will be provided.
Upon signing up for services you will be sent an invoice and a payment request will be sent through Zelle. (please note on your invoice my full legal name which will help prevent any issues in processing). I also accept payments through Paypal. Please note that Paypal service fee which will be added to your transaction.
Initial Consultations
New students will receive one free educational consultation at the start of their services. Prior to your initial session you will be sent some questionnaires to gather information about your child and information about their learning styles and interests. During this consultation session the parent is required to attend as the parents goals and questions will be answered. The tutor will spend 10-15 minutes with the student in a mini lesson of the students or the parents choice so that the student and parent can determine if the tutors style and personality will be a good fit.
Classes missed with 24 Hour Notice
Parents are expected to communicate with the tutor when a schedule conflict comes up. If the parent provides 24 hours notice of the schedule conflict they will be given a makeup session. This credit can be applied to rescheduling to a different date or time set up with the tutor or can be applied to extend their package deal. If the tutor has a conflict the parent can choose to have the session immediately refunded or utilize the "Makeup Credit"
Class that are missed without 24 hours notice
Sometimes things happen we get it! For every 3 month period you get one "oops" pass that will allow you to reschedule that session to either another day or at the end of your package. After this pass has been used there will not be a reschedule of that session (unless 24 hours notice has been given) and the session can not be refunded.
Late Payments
Accounts that are past due by 15 days will be charged a $10 late fee. Accounts that are overdue by 30 days will be charged an additional $10 ($20 late fee). If the account has not been paid at this 30 day mark no further tutoring sessions will be scheduled until the account is settled including payment of late fees.
Referrals
As a small growing business your referrals are important to me. If you refer someone to me and they are able to begin taking classes you will receive one free class credit.
Makeup Credits
Makeup credits are "In store" use only and do not hold a cash value.
Refunds
If you become highly dissatisfied with your tutor please make a request for refund in writing to soupedservices@gmail.com. If you have a concern please make that concern known to your tutor immediately either through email or by feedback in their parent satisfaction survey. Often unmet needs can be met with communication and this is highly encouraged and appreciated by your tutor.
Recording of Sessions
Please note that the tutor will be recording each of these session and will hold the recordings for a limited time. This is done to verify any technical issues, review for professional development, and to provide protection to the teacher and student.
